The DURBAN WINGS CLUB will be hosting the ANNUAL VIRGINIA FUN RALLY on Sunday 24^th September. Remember that  Monday 25^th Sept is a Public Holiday – Heritage Day.  So here is the plan:

We will arrange a training session on Saturday 23^rd from 14H00 – 18H00 (Venue TBC). At this session you will be given your maps and all instructions about flying the route. For those first timers, we will take you through a step by step guide on “HOW TO FLY A FUN RALLY”. All you need to do is arrive with your plotting tools.

Registration will take place after the training at the Pool Braai hosted by the Durban Wings Club from 18H00. (No late or “on the day” entries will be accepted)

The competition will comprise a very simple Navigation Rally of about 90 – 100 nm in length at the end of which you will be tasked with 2 Spot Landings.
